Brief Description: For this assignment I was required to create an authentic assessment for students. In this assessment, students were required to write a letter to someone they knew and explain to them what they have learned about the different shapes they were taught. This letter had certain criteria each student needed to meet. In order to grade the assessment I created a table with two columns that were labeled completed or not completed.
Rationale: To document my understanding of Assessment I have included my Authentic Assessment that I have created, because by doing this I have demonstrated my knowledge of creating different assessments for students. I showed that I understand how to use multiple methods of assessments to engage learners in their own growth.

Brief Description: For this assignment I was required to create formative assessment. This assessment was basic questions about shapes to measure what the students already knew before I started the lesson. After doing the formative assessment, I was able to gauge how much my students already knew about the shapes I was going to teach them. This was beneficial because it allowed me to target the areas where students struggled.
